Footsteps is situated approximately one hour from the main tourist area by the outskirts of Gunjur Village. The Lodge boasts a unique fresh water pool, rooftop patio, restaurant dining areas, beauty salon, and its own resident birding expert, and also offers tuition in local art, Djembe drumming, cooking and local customs. Your room, a detached roundhouse, is designed to be naturally cool and comfortable. Double or twin, all are en-suite with good lighting and are insect free. Whilst here, enjoy your day with Lamin and his donkey cart visiting the local bee keeping centre or reptile centre or find something special at a local craft market. Alternatively just relax on the idyllic sandy beaches close to the hotel or perhaps hire a bike from one of the hotel staff at a reasonable cost which goes towards a maintenance fund for the bike.
